  19. That sounds real slow to me.  I get about 1300cps out of mftp 1.27 compared to
  20. 1600cps out of term (14.4k modem).

  22. Are you using SLIP, PPP or something else?  Generally PPP (which I'm using)
  23. has a lot less overhead then SLIP.  You also might want to try a different
  24. Aminet site and of course make sure Thor isn't downloading news or something
  25. while you ftp.
