- That sounds real slow to me. I get about 1300cps out of mftp 1.27 compared to
- 1600cps out of term (14.4k modem).

- Are you using SLIP, PPP or something else? Generally PPP (which I'm using)
- has a lot less overhead then SLIP. You also might want to try a different
- Aminet site and of course make sure Thor isn't downloading news or something
- while you ftp.
